On December 27, at 10:59 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that house had been on fire in the beginning of Garni village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad and three volunteers from Garni Volunteer Fire and Rescue Group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a house (about 20 square meters) on Azatamartikner Street. During the fire extinguishing activity, a charred body was found.

The fire was localized at 11:40 and extinguished at 12:25. The house with its belongings was burnt.
