On November 12, at 12։18 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in a house near the church in Barabatum industrial community of Kapan town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained at 14:12. and extinguished at 17:21. The two-storey house (about 160 square meters) was burnt. There were no casualties.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to nearby houses.
