Rescuers provided assistance to children stuck in a half-built building and moved to a safe place

In the evening of August 11, as a result of the quick response of rescuers in Sisian town, children had found on a half-built building were moved to a safe and secure area.

At 19:29, an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Operative Management Center that children had climbed onto a half-built building and were unable to get down on their own in the area adjacent to Garegin Nzhdeh Street.

Upon receiving the emergency call, one fire unit of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Syunik Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs promptly dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers assessed the situation, approached the children and ensuring their safety, took them down from the dangerous area.

The fire and rescuers continue their 24-hour service with the commitment to ensuring the lives and safety of citizens.
