On August 20, at 18։36, the emergency call was received to Lori Regional Operative Management Center that the rescuers’ help had been needed to move a citizen injured his leg in the forest of Vanadzor town to an ambulance.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

Responding quickly to the situation, rescuers lowered the citizen about 600 meters from the difficult-to-reach area and moved to the ambulance.

The casualty was taken to a medical center.
