On August 13, an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that there was a wounded eagle in the garden of a resident of Mesrop Mashtots Street in Goris town.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Goris of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers moved the wounded eagle to a safe place, took care of it, together with colleagues from the Environmental Protection and Subsoil Inspection Body returned it to its native habitat.

This beautiful act of care also proves that rescuers are there where help is needed.
