Rescuers pulled the citizen out of the difficult terrain

The mission of a rescuer begins with a call for help and ends when a person is no longer in danger. Especially in mountainous, difficult-to-pass terrain, reaching the scene of an accidents becomes a most difficult stages of rescue operations.

On August 30, “Ford Explorer” tire was damaged on a slope near Karut village and when the driver tried to change it, he injured his leg.

Kajaran Fire and Rescue Squad officers dispatched to the scene had been walked about 4 km before reaching the casualty.

Thanks to the quick response and coordinated activities of the officers, the citizen was provided with the necessary assistance. He was safely removed from the difficult terrain and taken to the hospital.
