On September 11, at 15։56 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Operative Management Center that citizen had stuck in the rock near "Saint Ilya" Chapel on the slope adjacent to the 4th kilometer of Alaverdi-Madan roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

Using ropes, rescuers safely retrieved a foreign national from a depth of approximately 15 meters and moved them to a safe area.
