On July 1, at 19:56, an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Operative Management Center that a citizen with a dog had gone into the forest near Geghamasar settlement, on the shore of Lake Sevan and had lost contact: the rescuers' help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of search operations, rescuers found the missing citizen in a difficult-to-reach part of the forest, in a reed bed.

The rescuers carried the citizen out through the forest (about 300 meters) to the roadway and transported him to Geghamasar settlement.
