RS Tavush Regional Rescue Department of RA MIA conducted a man-made rockfall activities in order to reduce possible risks

To mitigate potential hazards identified through studies conducted on the roads of the Republic of Armenia, the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is implementing preventive measures by man-made rockfall activities in the most risk sections of various roads.
As part of these efforts, on March 27, from 10:00 to 14:00 man-made rockfall activities were conducted on the road leading from Achajur village to Makravank monastery complex in Tavush province. Similarly, on March 28, rockfall prevention measures were carried out at the 1st km of the road from Khashtarak village to Lusahovit village during the same time frame.
The activities were conducted by the operative group and Fire and Rescue squad of Ijevan from Tavush Regional Rescue Department, with the involvement of officers from the Patrol Service Battalion of the Tavush Regional Police Department and three units of special equipment provided by the Ijevan Municipality.
