On August 28, the basements had been flooded as a result of heavy rain in the evening in a number of addresses in Ani block of Gyumri town.

Starting at 20:16, two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA responded to the emergency call received to Shirak Regional Operative Management Center.

The rescuers conducted drainage activities at various addresses using motor pumps, removing about 125 cubic meters of water from the basements in total.
