On January 31, at 15։24 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the field called "Shagard" in Stepanavan town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 18։25 and extinguished at 18։52. The grassland was burnt.
