On September 6, at 19:17 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in the field in Sotk village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 20։37 and extinguished at 21։26. About 70 ha of grassland were burnt, firefighting activities were implemented in the area of about 20 hectares.

5 rescuers participated in the firefighting activities.
