On August 29, at 13։01 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out on the hillside adjacent to Hatsavan village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of Ra dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 14:45 and extinguished at 15:25. About 6 ha of grassland and about 12 ha of mowed fields were burnt.
