On July 19, at 15։40 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Management Center that a citizen had drowned in a waterfall in Goghtanik village.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the diver from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the citizen jumped into the water from a height of about 4 meters and drowned.

As a result of the search, a diver pulled the citizen's dead body from a depth of about 6 meters.

The rescuers blocked off the scene and moved the dead body to the mortuary vehicle.
