On February 28, at 16:27 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Crisis Management Center that car had collided with train on Vardenis-Mets Masrik roadway: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

It turned out that about the 2nd kilometer of Vardenis-Mets Masrik roadway, at the intersection of train tracks and the roadway, “Mercedes-Benz” car collided with a snowplow train: the driver was bodily injured and stuck in a car.

The rescuers pulled the driver out of the car and moved to the ambulance: the casualty was hospitalized to medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
