The training was conducted at the administrative building of the Gegharkunik Regional Administration to ensure the effective organization of wildfire suppression efforts and the safety of the population.

The purpose of the training was to enhance the participants' level of preparedness, refine actions related to fire suppression and population protection, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of the regional civil defense plan.

According to the scenario, a fire had broken out in the forest adjacent to Noratus settlement of Gavar community. The participants analyzed the situation, assessed potential risks, discussed methods for mobilizing necessary resources and reviewed information obtained from reconnaissance.

The participants in the training included officials from the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA and the Regional Government staff: the members of commissions on emergency situations and population evacuation, as well as the representatives from Gavar Municipality and the leadership of Noratus settlement.

During the concluding phase, reports were presented and identified issues and discrepancies were discussed with the purpose of organizing future operations more effectively and improving response capabilities.
