Personnel from units under Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA carried out special tactical and facility-level exercises, unscheduled drills, seminars, and practical sessions at a number of educational institutions and organizations in the capital during the month of May. 

Participants were introduced to the features of firefighting equipment, the rules for its use, and the key measures for isolating fire sources and preventing the spread of fire. They also developed their skills in acting swiftly and effectively by practicing with primary firefighting tools.

The purpose of the events was to raise participants' level of preparedness, develop their skills in responding and acting correctly in emergency situations, and reinforce knowledge of fire safety, alerting, evacuation, and sheltering.

Such initiatives regularly carried out by the Rescue Service are important for creating a safe environment and fostering responsible behavior, while also contributing to the strengthening of cooperation between various organizations.
