On October 30, at 08։57 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at a railway crossing near Lernapat village: a citizen was stuck: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a freight train collided into “Volkswagen” car at a railway crossing.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, as well as pulled the driver and passenger out of the car. The casualties were hospitalized at a medical center.
