On May 9, at 14։26 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that hayrick had been on fire nearby a house on the 3rd street in Hoghmik village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 14:50 and extinguished at 18:05. About 200 bales of hay were burnt.
