On November 22, at 14։36 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that forage had been on fire in Makenis village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the yard of a house on 2nd Street in Makenis village. The fire was localized at 15:58 and extinguished at 18:05. About 1500 bales of hay were burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the house.
