On January 12, at 04։15 an emergency call was received to Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had been noticed in Arevik village.

Two fire units and one water tanker from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that fodder was burning in Arevik village.

The fire was localized at 04:48 and extinguished at 09:16. About 2,000 ha of forage was burnt.
