Units of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to implement large-scale measures aimed at preventing fires in forest and vegetated areas, mitigating potential risks and raising public awareness. These efforts were designed to increase the population level of information and foster behaviors that reduce the risk of fire outbreaks.

A large number of rescue personnel were involved in the public awareness process, conducting outreach activities in public spaces, recreation areas and zones adjacent to forests using loudspeakers and UAVs.

Simultaneously, posters on fire safety rules were displayed, informational flyers were distributed and explanatory work was implemented among citizens in crowded areas.

Duty patrols are being maintained in high-risk areas to ensure a rapid response to potential fires specifically recreation zones and locations near forests.

Alongside awareness-raising activities, rescue personnel and eco-patrols were jointly monitoring the fire situation in forested and vegetated areas.
