On October 12, the units of the Rescue Service of MIA, by the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan continued firefighting activiites in the area of ​​4 ha at Nubarashen landfill landfill in Yerevan.

During the firefighting activities, the rescuers of Ministry of Internal Affairs effectively cooperated with the employees of Yerevan Municipality.

The activity on site was coordinated by the Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan.

About 1,400 tons of water were used, about 900 earthworks were carried out to prevent the spread of the fire.

There were no open fire, the volume of smoke was significantly decreased.

The fire that broke out at the landfill was isolated at 20:06.

The firefighting operation are continuing with the same intensity.
