On May 17, at 16։20 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that roof house had been on fire in the 1st block of Verin Ptghni village of Kotayk province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

“1 BIS” degree of fire complexity was announced: two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the duty group from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene: then four more fire unis as a water tanker left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 16:59 and extinguished at 17:40. A 100-square-meter area of the roof was burnt. The firefighters prevented the spreading of fire to the second and first floors.
