On April 21, at 11:22 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred grassland had been on fire near Spitak bends.

Four fire units and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Lori and Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 12:56 and extinguished at 13:58. The grassland on the right-hand hillside of the second bend in Spitak was burnt.

As a result of the prompt actions of firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading to the nearby forest.
