On April 1, at 08:50 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire near in the area adjacent to the church in Vahravar village.

The operative groups from the Fire and Rescue Squad and Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 15:35 and extinguished at 21:25. The grassland, bushes and trees were burned.

Thanks to operative actions, firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the nearby forest.
