On October 12, at 10:17 an emergency call was recieved to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that a haystack had been on fire in Chambarak town.

One fire unit  from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the yard of a house on Aram Khachatryan Street.

The fire was localized at 11:36 and extinguished at 12:50. About 500 ha of forage was burnt.

Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the house.
