On September 22, at 19։37 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that explosion with fire had occurred at a gas station near the bridge in Tsaghkunk village of Armavir province.

By "Number 2" call of fire complexity four fire units from Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a gas accumulation with ignition occurred during the filling of the cylinder at the gas station on the left side of the 1st km of Ejmiatsin-Armavir highway. The fire broke out in the grassland adjacent to the gas station.

Two citizens were hospitalized from the scene.

The fire was localized at 19:45 and extinguished at 19:55. About 150 square meters of grassland was burnt.

The fire was prevented from spreading to the gas station warehouse and 500 square meters of grassland: there was no explosion.
