Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire that broke out on Artashisyan Street of Yerevan city
On September 16, at 20։34 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that house had been on fire on Artashisyan Street of Yerevan city.
Two fire units from Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
“1 BIS” degree of the fire complexity was announced: two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the group on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the group on duty Medical Care Provision of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out on the 2nd floor and roof of a two-story house in the 2nd alley of Artashisyan Street.
The fire was localized at 21:08 and extinguished at 21:19. The roof of the house (about 60 square meters), the 2nd floor (about 50 square meters) with furniture and the open balcony (about 10 square meters) were burnt.
As a result of the prompt and skillful actions of the firefighters, the further spread of the fire to neighboring houses was prevented.
