Between August 15 and 26, the Crisis Management Centers of the Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of MIA were received numerous emergency calls regarding fires had been on fire in grasslands.

The fire was spread to significant areas in various regions and settlements, creating a serious threat to both the natural environment and adjacent settlements. The fire cases were recorded in Aparan, Yeghvard, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Meghri, Berd towns, as well as in Saralanj, Geghard, Alapars, Fantan, Sanahin, Agarakavan, Lchashen, Karchaghbyur, Aygedzor, Kamkhut, Argel, Lchavan, Haghtanak villages, as well as on Kotayk-Kaputan, Chknagh-TTujur roadways and Hartashen-"Zanger" section.

Despite the difficult and sometimes complex landscape conditions, firefighters managed to localize and completely extinguish the fire through prompt and coordinated actions, preventing its further spread and possible catastrophic results.
