On June 28, at 22:16 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that grassland had been on fire on Tsitsernakaberd highway. 

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 22:35 and extinguished at 23:00. Approximately 4,000 square meters of grassland and bushes were burnt. As a result of extensive operative actions, the firefighters managed to quickly prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring areas.
