On October 6, at 22։59 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that house had been on fire in Gndevaz village.

The operative group and two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of a barn adjacent to a house on 9th Street in the village.

The fire was localized on October 7, at 00:11 and extinguished at 01:23. The wooden constructions of the barn roof covering (about 60 square meters) and about 500 bales of hay were burnt.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent house and buildings.
