On March 12, at 13:08 an information was received to Crisis Management National Center that building had been on fire in the yard of one of the houses on Komitas Street in Merdzavan village. 

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that fire broke out in the neighboring area called “Hur Hobi” of the village. Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, one citizen was hospitalized to medical center.

Information was received from a medical center that one more citizen addressed to medical center with burns.

The fire was localized at 13:45 and extinguished at 13:52. The vineyards and scrubland were burnt. The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to nearby orchards.
