On October 26, at 14:01 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a shoe warehouse at the Malatia Fair in Yerevan city.

By “N 2” degree of fire complexity six fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the duty group of Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative from Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
At 14:54 "Number 3" call was announced.

Four fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the duty groups on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Rescue Forces Department, Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 15:53 and extinguished at 16:49.

A storage area (approximately 530 square meters) and pavilions (approximately 70 square meters) at the Malatia Fair were burnt. The fire was prevented from spreading to the adjacent shoe storage area (400 square meters).

The patrolling was implemented on the spot.
