On September 15, at 19։20 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that gas leak and explosion had occurred on Acharyan Street of Yerevan city.

Two fire units from Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a gas explosion with fire occurred near a methane gas filling station. Two casualties received appropriate medical care on the spot.

The gas leak has been stopped. The firefighters extinguished the fire at 19:42.
