On August 11, at 17:28 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in Kayer village.

The forces and means of the Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that vegetation was burning in four places in the forest of the village.

The fire extinguishing activities in the forest area of Kaler village lasted for about four days. The firefighters managed to localize the fire on August 13, at 18:50 and extinguished on August 15, at 18:30. About 350 ha of vegetation were burned.

The representatives of the eco-patrol service were also involved in the activities.
