On August 26, at 21։20 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that grassland had been on fire on Myasnikyan Avenue of Yerevan city.

Fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the duty group from the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the duty group from Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The firefighters localized the fire at 22։50 and extinguished it at 23։25. The grassland was burnt.

The fire was prevented from spreading to nearby houses and other grassland.
