On March 17, at 09:30 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that grassland had been on fire on Stepanavan-Privolnoye roadway of Lori province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out near the 17th km of in the forest area near Stepanavan-Privolnoye roadway.

The fire was localized at 12:15 and extinguished at 12:50. The grassland was burnt. 

The fire was prevented from spreading to the forest.
