On March 16, at 11:08 information was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had been noticed in the area called "Toper" near Movses and Choratan villages.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department, the operative groups from Mosvses, Chinar and Choratan Emergency Points of the Fire and Rescue Squads of Taush Preservation of Special Objects of Collective Center of Civil Defense Forces of Civil Protection Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was isolated at 14:36 and extinguished at 16:25. The grassland and brushwood were burnt. The fire was prevented from spreading to the adjacent forest.

25 rescuers participated in the firefighting activities.
