On February 9, at 13:35 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire in Mets Masrik village: there were animals inside.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of a barn (about 150 square meters) near a house on the 2nd lane of 5th street in Mets Masrik village.

The fire was localized at 14:09 and extinguished at 14:57. About 20 bales of hay, about 4 square meters of the wooden floor and part of the roof covering (about 30 square meters) of the barn were burnt.

The rescuers pulled 11 cattle, 30 sheep, 20 birds, 1 pig and 1 goat out of the barn.
