On September 9, at 13։01 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Operative Management Center that forage had been on fire near a house on the 8th lane of the first street in Karaberd settlement.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 14:05 and extinguished at 17:38. Approximately 700 bales of hay were burnt.

The rescuers prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby settlement.

One tractor from the community's municipal services was deployed for the firefighting operations.
