On August 21 at 16։30 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Operative Management Center that hayrick had been on fire on near a house on the 1st street in Ranchpar settlement.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 17:10 and extinguished at 01:05 on August 22. Approximately 2000 tons of stored forage were burnt.

A tractor was also involved in the firefighting operations.
