On January 8, at 23:27 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the roof of a house on Vantyan Street.

Four more fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the group on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department and the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the group on duty Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 23:59 and extinguished at 00:27 on January 9. The wooden constructions on the roofs of three houses (totally about 190 square meters) and the property on one of the roofs (20 square meters) were burnt.
