On April 11, at 22։42 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Operative Management Center that fire had broken out on the roof of a building in Ijevan town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of a building on Valans Street.

"1 BIS" degree of fire complexity was announced: two fire units and autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squad Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 23:35 and extinguished at 00:30 on April 12. The wooden constructions (about 150 square meters) of the building roof were burnt. The rescuers evacuated 25 residents.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the rest of the roof and apartments.
