On November 13, at 07:02 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire near a cemetery in Aparan town.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in a barn on Ashkharik Safaryan Street.

The fire was localized at 08:04 and extinguished at 11:33. The wooden structures of the barn roof (about 180 square meters) and about 1,400 tons of bales of hay under the shed next to the barn were burnt.

The rescuers and citizens jointly removed 14 cattle from the barn, 2 of which died.

One special equipment was involved in the firefighting operations.
