On September 5, at 12:55 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in Amrakit village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that harvested wheat field was burning near the 9th km of the Stepanavan-Vanadzor roadway.

The fire was localized at 13:36 and extinguished at 14:25. About 11 ha of harvested wheat field and 30 ha of forage were burnt.
