On May 8, at 04:06 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that house had been on fire near a milk factory on Shirakatsi Street in Gyumri town.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 05:25 and extinguished at 06:35. About 110 square meters of a 200 square meter house along with property on Shirakatsi Street were burnt.

The fire was prevented from spreading to the adjacent house.
