On April 29, at 14։26 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the 5th floor of a building on Shirak Street of Yerevan city.

Two fire units and one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

“1 BIS” degree of fire complexity was announced: two more fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from the Medical Care Provision Department, the Crisis Management National Center and Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 15:10 and extinguished at 15:22. The bedroom (20 square meters), the hallway (10 square meters) and the wooden constructions (20 square meters) were burnt.

The rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the roof and adjacent apartments.
