On May 11, at 04։37 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that fire had broken out in a house on 14th Street in Nor Aresh of Yerevan city.

Five fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads from Yerevan Rescue Department, the groups on duty from the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities and the Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roofs of five adjacent houses (totaling about 500 square meters).

The fire was isolated at 05:40 and extinguished at 05:55. About 140 square meters of roofs the second floor and roof of one house were burnt, as well as the kitchen on the second floor of one house and about 10 square meters of the roof of the adjacent house were heat-damaged.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses: there were no casualties.
