On June 26, at 10:42 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the fourth floor of a building on Komitas Avenue of Yerevan city.

Two fire units, one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the duty groups of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment on the fifth floor on 56 Komitas Avenue.

The fire was localized at 11:06 and extinguished at 11:26. The gas leaked from the gas cylinder, household items (about 1 cubic meter) and the suspended ceiling (4 square meters) were burnt.

As a result of the prompt actions of the firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading to the roof and adjacent apartments.
